About us
Discover the meaning behind the name 'Ruku ki te Ako' and how it reflects our approach to collaboration
Ruku ki te Ako is more than just a name
Ruku ki te Ako means ‘Dive into Learning’—a name that speaks to the courage and curiosity needed to truly grow. Just as a diver plunges beneath the surface to discover hidden treasures, we invite you to immerse yourself in the depth of knowledge and understanding. Rooted in Te Ao Māori values, this journey is about more than learning—it’s about connection, respect, and embracing the richness of culture. When we dive together, we rise stronger.
Te Tumu Whakarae / Founder, Chris Maika, explains, "We wanted a name that embraces the essence of what we do, which is to guide and support our clients in their journey of growth and self-improvement."
