This course will empower kaimahi by increasing their knowledge of the intention of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and heightening their awareness of its relevance to themselves, their mahi and where they fit in the relationship.

The Treaty of Waitangi Journey
At the end of this course participants will:
- Have a better understanding of the history of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Understand the timeline of events leading up to the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Be able to engage in informed kōrero on Te Tiriti o Waitangi

At the end of this course participants will:
- Know the differences between each version
- Understand that both versions of Te Tiriti o Waitangi have equal standing in law
- Feel confident in challenging their own views through an informed perspective

At the end of this course participants will:
- Understand why it's important to engage collaboratively with Māori
- Make inclusive decisions which make a difference
- Seek solutions that enhance the mana of both Tiriti partners.
